Description |
A wooden corner chair designed in the Eastlake style with one arm, a cushioned seat and back rest. Chair has been re-upholstered in a cream coloured fabric with a subtle striped pattern on it. The wood is stained a medium brown with subtle, geometric decorations incised into the wood throughout. There is a carved, wooden decoration along the bottom of the seat. A recurring vine and leaf motif is present throughout and appears on the front of the arm rest, both stiles and where the back proper right leg meets the bottom of the seat. Chair has four legs all with with turned detail and rubber feet. There are geometric patterns on the front two legs with two horizontal lines inside of a rectangle. The decoration on the top of the proper right leg is a curled stem with three leaves. There is no decoration present on the proper left hand side or the back of the chair. |
