Description |
Miniature Bucket and Tools. A small cork bucket containing miniature metal tools. The bucket is made from a large cork hollowed out in the centre, halfway down. The outside is scored with vertical lines to resemble wood stoves. A circular line has been scored around the lower and upper sides. The top line has a loop of copper wire around it, to resemble a metal ring. A piece of copper wire forms the handle, fitting into each side through a hole in the cork. The five tools are cast metal - a spoon/trowel, screwdriver, hammer, wrench, and a chisel. Each tool is cast metal and each piece, except the chisel, is a brassy-gold colour. The chisel has been painted black. The spoon has a rounded bowl with a very pointed end. It is unevenly made and could be a trowel. |
