Description |
Doll Bed. A doll bed made of metal tubing with a wire mesh base, welded onto the frame. The bed has a headboard and footboard of the same height. They consist of a upside down U-like shaped frame supported by a ladder-like midsection. The side sections of the bed frame are an L shaped piece welded onto the headboard and footboard. The mesh is welded onto the underside of the bed frame. The whole surface has been painted a dull gold. Mattress (b) made of pale green cotton and backed with stiff binding. The top edge is trimmed with beige lace. The mattress is stuffed with a coarse material, possibly straw. Small pink fabric pillow is trimmed with lace and stuffed with batting. |
