Description |
Eyeglasses and Case. An unusual eyeglass piece (a) consisting of an oval lens with a hole drilled on each side. One side has a hooked length of fine chain attached to a curved piece of wire. This appears to be a modified lens created from the original eyeglasses. The case (b) is reddish-brown leather covered case with an aligator-skin pattern. The interior is lined with reddish brown velvet. The bottom has the name of the optician stamped in gold. |
