Description |
Doll Purse. A doll purse made of a silk blend with a sheen to the surface. The purse has a rounded bottom and a small rounded front flap closure. The back fabric section is longer than the front, to fold over and create a flap. A length of small pink cording has been sewn along the front edge and knotted at the top sides, next to the flap. The cording continues around the flap to end in a loop closure, and a decorative loop sewn onto the flap. The other section of the cording is a double strand extending from the knot. This strand has another knot 4.7 and 5.5 cm from the purse. A dome fastener has been sewn on the bottom centre section of the cording. Closed the fastener forms a loop. The button closure has a round top covered with the same silk. The inside of the purse flap has a metal stay sewn in between the silk layers. |
