Description |
A small Lincoln Electric Clock. The bakelite casing is dark brown. It is rectangular with shallow stepping on the top. There is a linear and square design around the front. Teh backing is brown cardboard. It is fastened by 4 iron screws, one in each corner. There are two brass knobs protruding through holes in centre of the backing. The top knob has a white arrow to the left of it and the words "To Start" to the right of it. The lower knob has an arrow to the left of it and the words "To Set" to the right of it. Below the knob in white ink it says "This Clock is Designed To Operate On 60 Cycles / 80 - 135 Volts A.C. Only / Patent Pending" The cord protrudes through the bottom corner. The wires are enclosed in woven light brown string. The plug is round. The face is open, exposing the copper screws, prongs and other apparatus. The words "Arrow HlH / U.S.A." are printed on the outside of both prongs. The clock's face is beige with brown designs and numbers. The word "Lincoln" is written below the hands. The minute hand is long and narrow and pointed at the end. The hour hand is a shorter triangle with the centre cut out. There are 4 small silver-coloured screws and a longer brown-coloured screw below the "12". "Made in U.S.A." is printed in small lettering below the number "6" The face of the clock is enclosed behind clear glass. |
