Description |
One glazed, porcelain, oval-shaped fairing depicting Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf. Fairing is a small trinket box with a bottom (a) and a lid (b). Bottom (a) is white and has four small feet on the bottom and a decorative floral and leaf motif around the outside. Lid (b) fits on top of (a) and has a moulded depiction of Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf on the top. The wolf is on the proper right side of Red Riding Hood and is light brown in colour with a white strip down its neck and chest. It has one front leg raised and is looking up at Red Riding Hood who is holding her hood closed with her proper right hand and holding a basket in her proper left hand. There is a raised decoration around the rim of the lid. Red Riding Hood is wearing a red cape with gold accents and has a blue dress underneath. The basket in her proper left hand is topped with green and has a gold handle. |
