Description |
Table. A renaissance revival style of centre or parlour table made from walnut. The table top is an oblong shape with a triangular-angled edge to each corner. The edges of the table have curves and a cutaway design sloping downwards. The table top is supported by an X-shaped stretcher attached to the underside. This support is attached to a pedestal with four curving legs ending in casters on the feet. Both the column and the legs have a series of decorative designs - incised linear, knob-like durves and floral medallions. |
