Description |
Dressing Case. A plain rectangular wooden box with a double-hinged lid and a burled walnut veneer. A glossy, dark mottled brown appearance. The interior components are hardwood with a veneer to match the outside and and ebony veneer trim. The lid is lined with a paper and velvet. The inner box has a lift-out tray with compartments. There is a brass release pin on the right-hand side edge which releases a plain, shallow drawer. Travelling box for stationary and personal objects.
